Adrianne Gallinari

Adrianne Gallinari (b. 1965, Belo Horizonte) is a Brazilian multimedia artist who lives between São Paulo, Salvador, and Belo Horizonte. She holds a degree from Escola Guignard and a bachelor’s from Faculdade Santa Marcelina, and worked for nearly a decade as a teacher at the Tomie Ohtake Institute and as an illustrator.

Her practice blends drawing, painting, and writing across diverse media, moving between figuration and abstraction. Through a personal lexicon of signs, she explores the relationship between image and language, where words become drawings and drawings function as open signifiers.
